Assalamualaikum, we are sixth grade students. For us, learning English is so fun, and always be. Look! How fun it is to learn English while gardening at school garden and school green house. We did not only learn gardening vocabularies from book but we also learned how to plant the plants to make our school environment greener. It was a sixth-grade group work for an environmental mission. Each group brought different tiny plants and some gardening tools.
So, what should we do with the plants? Well, Mrs. Ida, the person in charge of Adiwiyata taught us to plant the plants correctly. Is that all? Of course, no, we were also taught to water them correctly, watering is not that simple actually, it has techniques. To water the plants can be done manually and be done by using a technology called water sprinkles.
At first, we found it challenging because it was our first experience to plant and to take care of plants regularly. We then wrote an English report for this project and after that, Ms. Titis, our English teacher asked us to describe the changes we had made for school environment using degree of comparison -er and more to the sentences. Learning English while gardening? Why not? It is so much fun.
